I've been thinking about color gamma for TJ's line, and stopped at light grey, black and red (excluding orange). In my opinion, TJ should have pretty much similar palette as FJ had before, because of its defiant look. What exterior color of TJ do you want to see as an option?

Of course I'd like to see a similar shade of blue as the FJ Cruiser. It's a lot lighter of a shade than what you'd see in other models, but with the FJ it just worked. I'd like to see it make a comeback.

True!! I forgot about this iconic blue. Would be nice to have this one too.

Toyota needs to offer some unique colors because with a model as special and with as much character as this, it`s just what happens. Take the Wrangler for example, these are some of the colors you can get for 2017:

Not too sure if the purple is from factory, but I do know the blue one was from some special edition wrangler. Green is an option as well, though it may position it as a Wrangler competitor by doing so.

You guys just opened my eyes.. I've never seen those Wrangler colors before:surprise:

I don't really like to see to many colors for one certain model, however if they're planning to create a high level trim, it would be nice to have it in a special (luxury) color. (So everyone knows how cool you are LOL )

The FJ Cruiser Final Edition did have its own special shade of beige both on the exterior and interior, giving it a baja look. Perhaps an option to bridge the transition between the FJ and TJ models, not a bad color either as it should hide dirt and dust very well. But I could do without the matching top, just doesn't look as nice as a two toned body.
