If you compare that interior to what we had in the 80's, then this is a lot like it, and at the same time too much like it, I don't like it!
Where it gets really weird is the transition from the dash to the lower parts of the interior that are modern such as the seats and center console.

In my opinion, this transaction has something in it. You can see two different ages in the car manufacturing, starting from the classic upper dash and then go down to the modern details like seats and center console.. but it's just my opinion..

I wouldn't be too concerned about how the current interior looks. I think you will see a lot of change before (and IF) it goes into production. They may just incorporate existing interior bits from other models to save cost....maybe even entire dash boards.

Anyone else curious as to why there is no rumours of a 4 door option? I mean if they are attempting to compete with the likes of the wrangler, should they not a similar number of models. I'm sure there will be redesigns prior to an actual launch, but I have a feeling the rear cabin room is lacking in that concept.

I don't understand. All the concepts I have seen have 4 doors.
